woo! I've reached 300 blog views! Nothing else to this post except that. i feel numbers in the middle are rather left out, so out of that I decided to make 300 views a mile stone!
so just to make this blog post worth i will put some words of thought up.
I may have talked about it before but i seriously can't be arsed to check, but the topic is "how can we attain true peace?". Because this in its self is a controversy because there are so many answers and people tend to believe in ignorance that their way is the way to achieve. So let's be extreme for the sake of this. One version of attaining peace would be to remove humanity. then a balance would be restored to the universe and earth would fix its self. I believe this method to be wrong. Not just because of the ethics, but because of Darwin's theory of evolution. Let's say this did happen, what will happen to other species of animal? Well many "human-dependent" would become "rampant" or better put, return to their original survival instincts, and some other species would quite frankly become extinct. take goldfish for example. The way i see it. if we died, then the goldfish wouldn't get fed, their fish bowls will become dirty and they will suffocate. So if we want to attain true peace. Let's stay away from that method, not looking at any individuals in particular, but Think about the Goldfish!!
So obviously because this is my blog, we all now think like me, and therefore we must ask the question, what about assassin's and ninja's and the army and other such forces? They all fight to "protect their freedom and in the name of peace". Ultimately this is a piece of bullshit created by rich people who love playing a world sized form of chess. And basically any piece can move in any direction as long they don't cheat, or the Unaptly named "french" moves from primary school. To "fight" for peace is a complete contradiction. Fighting for freedom is completely different and a different blog entirely. Peace is attained when the fighting and the aggression and the other bits. just go. Peace is balance in the universe. when equivalent exchange is satisfied.
i was watching "James Cameron's Avatar" last night and I remember a line from it. (I will comment on the film later) "All energy is only borrowed and one day we must return it"... .... ... ... I've always thought that was a given. it is a good line though. If we are borrowing energy, then surely we are using energy to fight each other, then why not divert this energy to doing something productive or fun. Why waste your life shooting at some guy who thinks the complete opposite to you and then getting scared by the fact they are retaliating. At that moment it becomes a fight for survival, whilst before it was just because you were told to. Being a soldier sucks obviously.
So what is my view on attaining peace. well firstly me apologise for offending anyone reading this whom is affected by any of the above. seriously, if you are affected by avatar, seek help. Otherwise it will just keep coming back for you!
I am going to have to quote something which many people love with a passion or hate or are rather indifferent to it and would just like to have jam on their toast instead. yes you guessed it, i am going to quote Assassin's Creed! From the first game, thew evil dude with the beard says "You can not attain true peace by ending the crimes one man commits upon another, it refers to peace within". Now for any die hard fan, yes i probably did quote that wrong. But for that is pretty much what he said!
Now as much as I hate having to agree with a game which instates one of largest contradictions known to man 'assassin's fighting for peace'. But the point about inner peace could not be more apt. How could we truly want to have peace, if we are not even peaceful with ourselves. We all have our own inner conflicts to resolve. And the moment that the end, basically you've reached enlightenment according to buddha. So Whilst I appear calm on the outside, It's only because on the inside there is a ton of war going, best not to share with other people? ehh?
So really i just want to end all conflict around by first ending all conflict with myself, maybe then I can actually preach what i practice. You know you have the moral high ground when you are not a Hippocrate. I jest still. Peace on earth is a fantasy still. but at least i can say i am trying to contribute.
So yeah how was that for a 300 views blog post?
So to enjoy all this, here is a song;
